(More customer reviews)Camera wasn't useable straight out of the box. Camera wasn't dependable i.e. GPS had to be continually reset, camera wouldn't turn on or off consistently. Camera wasn't recognised by computer because of it's non-function. Had to continually take out Memory Card and Battery to reset camera. Camera would turn on and record one minute, but then it wouldn't do anything. A very frustrating experience. Wasn't able to use the camera for two weeks, so sent back to Contour for a replacement. Contour Customer service is very responsive and want you to have a good experience with their product. It maybe best to wait for the next update so that Contour can address and fix the problems. I would also suggest that prospective buyers visit the Contour website to review other customer concerns and problems prior to their purchase.
Received replacement camera and it's working great. Must have had a lemon camera. Be sure to carry a second charged battery with you at all times. Using the High Definition feature eats the battery juice after 1 hour of recording. Picture quality and sound is amazing.
