(More customer reviews)This camera is wonderful for someone who likes to record family trips and other special occasions. The 30gb HDD (hard disk drive) means there is really no need for an SD card. I record most of my videos in "normal" quality (qualities consist of economy, normal, fine, and ultra fine) and only about a sliver of the memory is taken. The quality is wonderful for DVDs, but when i upload my videos to YouTube, the quality becomes a bit distorted. I love to film skateboarding and when I learned it had a thread for filters, I was completely overjoyed (filter size is 30.5 mm). Overall, this camera is good for people who enjoy making dvds without having to spend more money on SD cards.

-wonderful mic (best sound quality in my opinion)
-image stability is great
Cons:
-quality better for DVDs,not YouTube (quality is still not bad on youtube)
-when recording videos, you can't pause anything; it starts a new clip everytime you want to pause a recording
