(More customer reviews)I purchased this camera for a recent trip to Grand Cayman, and was extremely pleased with it's performance! I tried setting the auto balance to cloudy to compensate for occassional murkiness of salty sea water, but the results were a heavy sepia tone, so leave the auto balance set to daylight.
Video out of the water was also very crisp and clear. My only wish is that it shot in 720P format as the 640x480 format is a bit small, but you can certainly enhance it with video processing software.
Be sure to always rinse the camera completely with fresh water after using in salt water, and let it dry completely before opening the battery hatch, and be sure it is closed securely before submerging.
This is an awesome, inexpesive, compact camcorder that takes great pictures as well...you won't be disappointed in purchasing it! Don't be swayed by bad reviews, I wasn't and am glad I own it. Go to YouTube and search b06efj for more video samples, then buy this camera.
