(More customer reviews)This is a compact, well-designed camcorder. It is easy to use for the novice, but also offers many manual options for the more advanced videographer. I use the XP picture quality (not the highest) and the video quality is outstanding (using a HMDI to mini-HDMI cable to connect this directly to my TV).
The only (minor) thing I can criticize is that the LCD monitor is sometimes difficult to see in direct sunlight outdoors. There is an adjustment for monitor brightness, but it does not adjust bright enough in all conditions.
