(More customer reviews)This camcorder is amazing. It just arrived about four hours ago (3 days from ordering it) and I immediately started charging it so I could play with it. Once it was charged I took a couple of quick videos and went to test the projector. I was skeptical about the clarity and operation of this product, but that doubt has all been erased.
I haven't made a video yet and tested it on my HD TV, but the projector was crystal clear. If the projector was that clear I am sure the video is going to be amazing on an HD TV. The package that this came with this order is a pretty good deal in my opinion. The class 10, 16 GB card alone was worth the add on package, but better yet this comes with a light, extra wide angle and zoom lenses, pretty good quality camera bag, and most importantly 2 extra batteries. The only downfall to this order is that the extra batteries didn't come with a separate charger; which means each battery has to be hooked up to the camera to be charged. Additionally, the big and little tripods are of cheap quality and flimsy, but that's not why I ordered this package to begin with and I expected them to be cheap. I could have done without the tripods and if they would have given me an extra charger this product would have received 5 stars! Everything else, especially the camera is awesome.
Additionally, this camera was voted a best camera in 2011 by CNET. I didn't know this when I ordered it, but after my initial test I can see why. This truly is amazing technology that Sony put together (projector in a camera). Camera gets 5 stars, but package gets 3 for an average of 4 stars. Order this package and you won't be disappointed.
