(More customer reviews)I purchased this Vado HD camcorder at a reduced rate for the refurbished model. It arrived in excellent condition, showing some very small signs of wear but nothing very noticeable at all. I was missing the HDMI cable, but was able to get that matter resolved through Amazon's excellent customer support team.
So, I plugged the USB into the computer, and it powered on right away. I let it charge all day, and that night I got it out and shot some video. I did my first video in a low light setting, and the picture was good, but a bit dark of course. My next video was in a very well lit situation, and it actually came out looking like it was in HD. I was very impressed. The last video I did was in a tavern, with virtually no light, and it did poorly (I did not expect much though).
Overall, for the size and ease of use, I love this camcorder. The price was better than I ever would have imagined, and it despite being refurbished, it seems to work perfectly. I give this a 4 STARS rating overall. You could definitely find a better camcorder, but not in the price range that I paid for it.
